HP UNIVERSAL PRINTER DRIVER

The driver on the printer I use (HP Laserjet P4015x) to print e-Certs has recently been changed to the HP Universal Printer Driver.

Now, when I print e-Certs using the i2i Document Viewer, paper is pulled from the default tray (Tray 1) and not from the bypass/manual feed tray regardless of the printer setting I have established.  If I create a PDF file and print that, the printer behaves perfectly.

It is clear that the i2i Document Viewer we are using (version5.4.8) has a problem working with the HP Universal Printer driver.

We can't re-instate the old printer driver because we're moving to Windows 7 and that change requires us to use the Universal Printer driver.

Is this a known issue that is being worked on?  Is there a later version that works properly?

We are currently investigating this issue, and have found that there is indeed a problem with tray selection when using some later drivers with the current version of the i2i Document Viewer.

I am pleased to confirm that we will soon be releasing a new version of the i2i Document Viewer to correct this problem, and I will update this thread when it is available for download.
